Tyman UK & Ireland appoints experienced duo to drive world class safety strategy

ERA, one of the UK’s leading home security and fenestration component providers, has an experienced new team to achieve the highest standards of health and safety across all aspects of its business. 

The appointments form part of ERA’s parent company, Tyman’s, world class health and safety strategy, which is being implemented across all brands within the UK and Ireland division, including Access 360 and Zoo.

 

With over 50 years combined experience, Clare Gabriel has been appointed as regional Head of Health and Safety for Tyman UK & Ireland, whilst Lee-Ann Reading joins the business as Health and Safety Manager.

 

Leading Tyman UK & Ireland’s dedicated safety strategy, Clare and Lee-Ann will be responsible for the implementation of annual divisional safety improvement plans and audits, together with management systems, training and employee engagement.

 

As a former Health and Safety Inspector for the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), Clare previously managed the health and safety for BMW’s UK manufacturing operations.

 

Specialising in health and safety for the transport and healthcare industries, Lee-Ann previously held the role of Head of Compliance and Health for E-zec Medical Transport, in addition to being Regional Safety, Health & Environment Coordinator at DX Group.

Clare and Lee-Ann will work in partnership to continuously evaluate health and safety practices to achieve best practice across every area of ERA’s operations. This includes conducting process training and working with employees to ensure a safety focused agenda is consistently maintained.
