ERA 'Highly Commended' at Safety and Health Excellence Awards 2025

ERA Home Security scooped a 'Highly Commended' honour at the Safety and Health Excellence Awards 2025 in Birmingham.

The annual event, held in Birmingham, promotes the importance of innovation and underlines the highest standards of excellence within occupational safety and health.

ERA were nominated for the 'Best in Health and Safety in Manufacturing' award and came away with a 'Highly Commended' certifiate. 

This accolade was thanks to Steve Burley, Tool Maker for ERA Home Security, and his innovation of a handle testing equipment design which impressed the judges to scoop this honour. 

Laura Storer, Health and Safety Business Partner at Quanex, which ERA is a subsidary, spoke about the impact of this achievement, "It was a real pleasure to see Steven be recognised for the impact he has made on our business.
