ERA, one of the UK’s leading home security and fenestration component providers, has launched its first range of internal door handles to meet the increasing demand for modern hardware and offer an easy-sell opportunity for stockists.
Created to ensure broad appeal, the new range comprises of six beautifully crafted handles, each distinctively different in design and carefully hand-picked to complement all types of contemporary interiors.
A choice of four finishes, including Polished Chrome, Brushed Nickel and Polished Nickel, offers further creative scope to meet the specific needs of each customer, whilst the durable surface requires minimal maintenance.
Suitable for installation with all types of standard internal timber doors that have a thickness of 34mm – 44mm, each handle comes complete with a dedicated fixing kit, which includes everything required to ensure fast installation. The secure bolt-through fixings eliminate the requirement for cutting to simplify the fitting process.
In addition to being comfortable to operate, the handles’ spring mechanism automatically returns each handle to the original position when released, for improved ergonomics. The concealed fixings also ensure a clean, uncluttered look, whilst the availability of matching escutcheons ensures consistency for a coordinated look that can be achieved throughout an entire property.
Kerry Blackford, Head of Product at ERA, commented: “Even with the easing of restrictions, the home improvement boom continues to show no signs of slowing down, as homeowners seek to update their properties and make them more visually appealing.
“To support our nationwide distribution network in meeting this demand, we have launched our very first range of internal door handles to complement our popular offering of external hardware.
“This provides homeowners with a quick and easy route to enhancing the appearance of internal doors, all while retaining ERA’s inherent values of easy installation, exceptional performance and impressive ergonomics. The result is a broad appeal for homeowners – and a perfect opportunity for stockists to expand their profit potential.”
Tested in accordance to BS EN 1906:2012 standards and supplied with a 10-year mechanical guarantee, the new internal door handles have been endurance tested at ERA’s UKAS accredited test centre in excess of 100,000 cycles and meet the requirements for corrosion resistance to deliver first class longevity and performance.
